Hello Olá
from Lisbon
I'm Mónica Monteiro, proudly afro-rooted in Portugal.

I've been an illustrator and brand/editorial designer for ten years. For the last four years, I have focused on web design and digital performance, working as an Art Director, Brand, Social, Experience, and Content Designer.

Throughout this process, I started to absorb concepts and improve my versatile multi-disciplinary skillset in a way that provides creative strategic solutions. I have effectively applied these skills in the visual communication of Dinheiro Vivo's newspaper, where I worked for two and half years, primarily focusing on web and infographic design.

Additionally, I contributed to Napperon where I had a consistent role in brandingeditorial and web design, packaging, social media, museography, and space design, and Emotion Films focusing on branding and web design. Currently, I am at Dentsu Creative PT focusing on art direction for Santander.

I have actively engaged in freelance projects, partnering with impactful social action initiatives such as the Centro de Estudos Sociais da Universidade de Coimbra. My creative expertise has raced renowned brands like Chatty Feet, HeyHappiness, and Grupo Almedina.
